Process to Apply

STEP 1 Basic information

If you are interested in YICGG, please register as soon as possible. This will ensure that you receive the latest information from YICGG2026 Committee. For registration, please complete   the form in the attachment named 'YICGG2026-personal info-preliminary round'.The number of team members shall not exceed 3 (including 3).

Send this form with your curriculum vitae to our official mailbox: yicgg_official@fudan.edu.cn.

YICGG consistently encourages students from diverse countries and majors to form dynamic and creative multinational teams. For non-individual teams, each player from a different country and major will receive 1-point bonus(up to a maximum of 5 points).

It should be noted that any team with Chinese nationals (including participants from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions of China) shall be evaluated under the Greater China Division.

 

STEP 2 Design for Creative Projects

To participate in the first round of competition, you / your group need to submit your proposal to our official mailbox: yicgg_official@fudan.edu.cn.

For the proposal, please refer to Attachment4.1_Text Format for Preliminary Round Proposals. Please send your registration form with the proposal in one email.

Moreover, each participating team (whether it’s a team or an individual category) is encouraged to submit one outstanding case study on cultural heritage conservation from all over the world. For more details, please refer to Attachment 4.2_Text Format for Preliminary Round Case Analysis .

STEP 3 Assessment & Result Release

Based on your papers, the professional jury will decide the finalists who will be able to travel to Venice for the final, which will be released in May.

Deadline for result release: 5.8  

 

STEP 4 Confirmation

All candidates will have 5 days to decide whether to join the second round. YICGG2026 Committee, on behalf of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University, will send an invitation letter to the participants after their confirmation.

STEP 5 Registration for Ignite Talk

Candidates who want to join 'Ignite Talk' should send an email to the official mailbox:

yicgg_official@fudan.edu.cn attached with the speech outline based on the theme of the first round, approximately 150 to 200 words. Judges will select 20 candidates as 'Ignite Talk' talkers.
